Course Overview

The diploma is offered over 18 months, which includes 6 months of compulsory internship or practical training. Examinations are conducted on an annual basis.

Students receive training in core medical and healthcare subjects such as anatomy, physiology, microbiology, nutrition, pharmacy, psychology, sociology, hygiene, environmental sanitation, fundamentals of nursing, medical-surgical nursing, maternal and child health nursing, community health nursing, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have completed 10+2 or equivalent education from a recognized board.

The minimum age for admission is 17 years, and the maximum age is 35 years. No upper age limit applies for MPHW (Male/Female) candidates.
