Hands-on clinical training is a core component of both the B.Sc. Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) programs. Practical exposure begins from the first year, enabling students to build strong clinical skills while learning essential nursing theory.
Clinical Hours & Academic Integration
Both programs include structured clinical hours embedded within the curriculum. This balanced approach combines classroom teaching with real-time patient care, helping students confidently prepare for professional nursing responsibilities.
Hospital Training & Clinical Exposure
The IPH&H School of Nursing provides wide-ranging clinical exposure in reputed government and private hospitals. Under the guidance of experienced faculty and healthcare professionals, students gain hands-on experience in patient care, clinical procedures, and hospital protocols.
Educational Visits & Field Experience
To further strengthen practical understanding, students take part in educational visits to healthcare and community service institutions such as Mother Dairy, Sulabh Sauchalaya, Sewage Treatment Plants, Shanti Avedna Ashram, and DOT Centres. These visits help students connect theoretical concepts with real-world healthcare practices, public health systems, sanitation, nutrition, and disease management.
