At IPHH College of Nursing & Allied Health Sciences, Jammu, we strongly believe that education and healthcare should benefit society as a whole. Inspired by the long-standing social mission of the Institute of Public Health & Hygiene (IPHH), our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives focus on improving health, education, skill development, and environmental awareness in nearby communities. We aim to support people who need help the most and contribute positively to society beyond the classroom.
IPHH Jammu organizes free mobile health services to reach people living in rural and remote areas. Through mobile medical units, basic health check-ups, awareness on disease prevention, and primary care services are provided to those who may not have easy access to hospitals or clinics.
We support education for children from underserved areas through a free rural community public school. The school provides basic education in a safe and caring environment, helping children build a strong foundation for a better future.
IPHH Jammu promotes inclusion and equal opportunities for all. Rehabilitation support services are provided to help persons with disabilities improve their independence, confidence, and participation in daily life.
To spread correct information and reduce stigma, IPHH Jammu conducts HIV/AIDS awareness programs. These sessions educate communities about prevention, early detection, and the importance of compassion and support.
As part of our CSR efforts, skill training centres have been set up to help students and community members gain practical skills. These programs improve employability and encourage self-reliance.
Financial support and fee concessions are provided to students from economically weaker sections, minority communities, SC, ST, and OBC categories. Special support is also offered to girl students under the “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” initiative, along with group fee concessions.
IPHH Jammu actively promotes environmental protection through simple and effective initiatives such as recycling waste paper into eco-friendly items like pencils and pens, creating seed paper that grows into plants after use, and distributing seed bombs to encourage greenery.
Through these CSR initiatives, IPHH Jammu remains committed to serving society, protecting the environment, and supporting healthier, educated, and self-reliant communities.
