Jammuiyat Sahitya – Sanskriti Samagam 2026

An educational and cultural event titled “Jammuiyat Sahitya – Sanskriti Samagam” was successfully held on 13th and 14th March 2026 at the University of Jammu. The event aimed to promote literature, cultural awareness, and the spirit of Jammuiyat among students through various engaging activities.

Students from IPHH College of Nursing actively participated in the program. A total of 50 students from B.Sc. Nursing 1st and 3rd Semester attended the inaugural session, accompanied by faculty members Ms. Anu Sharma and Ms. Smily Gupta, who represented the institution as nodal officers.

The event featured multiple activities, including an elocution competition, cultural performances, and interactive sessions. One of the students, Harmeet, participated in the elocution competition and delivered a speech on environmental protection, highlighting the importance of sustainability and responsible use of natural resources.

Adding to the cultural spirit, several students participated in a vibrant dance performance, showcasing the rich traditions of Jammu. Their participation brought energy and enthusiasm to the event.

The program provided a valuable platform for students to enhance their communication skills, build confidence, and engage in cultural exchange. It also helped raise awareness about social and environmental issues.
